Interested in becoming a Student Board Representative? What does a Student Board Representative do?
As the board’s student representative, you have the same standing, voice, accountabilities, and voting rights as all other board members. You will participate in the full range of duties of a board member. This includes employment matters, student suspension meetings, handling of complaints, the leadership and monitoring of student achievement, and stewardship of the school. You will be well-supported in your role as student representative.
Nominations are now open and will close at 12 noon on Tuesday 3 Septemer.
You can pick up a nomination form at the Student Centre office or the school Library. Both locations will have a nominations lock box to drop your nomination form in.
Voting will take place on Thursday 19 September during Tutor class.
