James Cook High School was privileged to host the 2018 Te Ahurea Tino Rangatiratanga on 27 October 2018. All performances were live streamed on Maori TV so visit their website to see full results and to watch the outstanding performances.
Ngā Puna o Waiorea took out first place Te Ahurea Tino Rangatiratanga Festival for 2018, but it was no easy feat. Hot on their heels was the James Cook High School’s competitive group, Te Kapunga who placed second, as well as Te Kura Māori o Ngā Tapuwae who came in third. A massive paki paki to ALL of the competitors who participated and to all of the whanau, students and people from our community who came and supported the event.
Haka Kura Tuarua 2018
